Harley Virgil Lee

Funeral Services for Mr. “Harley” Virgil Lee, age 75, of Cookeville will be Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery in Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 18, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. also in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Mr. Lee passed away on Friday, June 15, 2012 at his residence. He was born June 12, 1937 in Jackson County TN to the late Dewey V. Lee and Della Masters Lee. Harley was a veteran of the Army National Guard, and worked in Construction in Dayton, OH for over 30 years before retiring to Cookeville. He was contented and happy working in his yard and gardening. Harley is survived by his wife, Linda Lee and two daughters: Teresa (Tony) Carter of Dayton, OH and Angela (Tim) Drehmer of Durham, NC. He is also survived by a sister, Louise Zischke of Lady Lake, FL; two grandchildren, Tasha (Matt) Njoes of Minneaplois, MN and Stephanie Clower of Dayton, OH, as well as three great grandchildren, Caleb Jones, Madison Njoes, and Emma Njoes, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, Mr. Lee was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy Lee and Edd Lee, and one sister, Virgie Ramsey. Bro. Jim Rogers will officiate the services.
