Harlan Carr

BAXTER-Graveside services and interment for Harlan Carr, 58 of Silver Point, will be Thursday, June 1 at 10 AM at Burton Family Cemetery in the Wolf Creek Community of DeKalb County. There will be no visitation at the funeral home, everyone will meet at the cemetery. Bro. Herb Leftwich will officiate.

Harlan died Tuesday, May 30, 2023 in Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

He was born October 20, 1964 in Waverly, TN to the late David J. "Wink" and Corina Huddleston Carr.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Quint Carr; grandparents, Ewin and Edith Tucker Carr, J.R. and Ethel Jones Huddleston; uncles; Joe Carr and Noel Anderson.

He was a mechanic and owner of the H & N Mechanical Shop at Silver Point and a motorcycle enthusiast.

Survivors include a daughter, Harley Carr and husband Michael McDonald of Silver Point; aunts and uncles, Odelene and Richard "Shorty" Pullum of Baxter, Mildred Anderson, Glen and Jane Carr all of Silver Point; a host of cousins.
