COOKEVILLE CHAPEL - Haley Paige Brito, affectionately known as Mori, was born on January 23, 2003, in Cookeville, Tennessee. Tragically, she passed away unexpectedly at her residence on November 30, 2024, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished by family and friends alike.

Mori was a graduate of Cookeville High School, class of 2021, and had begun to out a promising career as a nail artist at Tommy Nails in Cookeville. Her passion for creativity was evident in her work and her life, reflecting her artistic and whimsical nature. Mori's kindness and caring spirit touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was loving and true to herself, qualities that endeared her to those around her.

In addition to her artistic pursuits, Mori had a deep love for music and travel. These interests enriched her life and the lives of those she shared them with, providing joy and inspiration. Despite the challenges she faced with her mental health during her short life, her ability to brighten the lives of others with her radiant smile and beautiful art was profound. The loss of Mori leaves an undeniable void; the world feels much darker and greyer without her light.

Mori is survived by her loving family, including her father, Karl Brito, and her mother, Eadie Peterson. She is also mourned by her siblings, Daneille, Joshua, Andrew, Brooklyn, Matthew, Mary Brito, Nevada Davis, Daniel, Dakota Peterson, Tosha, and Braylin. Each of them will carry forward the cherished memories and love she shared during her time with them.

As those who knew her reflect on the life of Haley Paige Brito, they will remember her not only for the struggles she faced but also for the love she gave so freely. Her legacy of kindness, artistry, and joy will continue to inspire and touch the hearts of many.
