Funeral Services for Mattie Grace Gentry, 86 of Gainesboro will be Thursday, May 10 at 1 P.M. from the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper- Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home with interment to follow in Double Springs Cemetery. Bro. Dow Allen will officiate. Mrs. Gentry died Saturday May 5, 2012 at Bethesda Health Care Center in Cookeville. She was born March 31, 1926 in Putnam County to the late Herman and Fannie Bell Brown Rippetoe. She was a retired seamstress with Ford Motor Company. She was a member of Post Oak Shade Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband Cherlie C. Gentry, sisters, Rosa Jaquess and Lucy Snow, brothers, George Garrison, Harvey Garrison, Willard Garrison and Walter Rippetoe. Survivors daughter & son-in-law, Penny & John Goff of Trenton, MI; two sons & daughter-in-law, Terry Million of Gainesboro; Larry & Peggy Balowski of Rochester Hills, MI; five grandchildren, Rachel, April, Shawn, Nathaniel & Kristy, and several great-grandchildren. Mrs. Gentry"�s family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 to 8 P.M. and Thursday from 11 A.M. until time of services at the funeral home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
