Funeral services for Glenna F. Sullivan, 91, of Cookeville, will be held at noon on Monday, March 16, from the chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3-8 p.m. today, Sunday, March 15, and from 10 a.m. until time of services on Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Sullivan died Friday, March 13, 2009, at her home. She was born June 28, 1917, in Putnam County to the late Jesse and Bertha Clouse Ford. Mrs. Sullivan was a loving mother and homemaker. She was a member of Church of God of Prophecy. Her family includes four sons and two daughters-in-law, Bill and Lynn West of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., Robert D. and Eva Sullivan of Cookeville, James L. Sullivan of Baxter and Wynn R. Sullivan of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; five sisters and two brothers-in-law, Willene and Francis Therkelson of Fairfield Glade, Juanita Irving of Largo, Fla., Agnes A. Knutson, Dorothy and Bill Renzy and Nettie Ford, all of Cookeville; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert V. Sullivan; a son, Frank D. Sullivan; and two brothers, James and Robert Ford. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Pastor Thelma Roby will officiate at the services.
