Memorial services for Mrs. Ruth Geraldine Campbell Riley, age 91, of Cookeville, will be at 3 p.m Saturday December 8 at Living Hope Church in Cookeville. Pastor Ron Allen will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2:30 p.m. until service time. Mrs. Riley passed away Friday November 23, 2018 at Signature Health Care of Putnam County. Mrs. Riley was born November 17, 1927 in Hamptonville, NC to the late Maben Daniel and Ila Jane Menis Campbell. Mrs. Riley was a devout Christian, loving caretaker, and a woman whose personality made even a stranger feel welcome. Mrs. Riley enjoyed the teachings of Charles Stanley, Billy Graham, and a good NASCAR race where she often reminisced of the good ol' days, having known many of the founding drivers. She is survived by her son, Dallas Riley Jr; granddaughter, Natalie (Joshua) East; great-grandson, Owen East; and daughter-in-law, Martelia Crawford, all of Cookeville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Riley Sr.; and sister, Hazel Campbell.
