BAXTER-Funeral services for Patricia Gale Maxwell, 62 of Baxter, will be Tuesday, November 22 at 2 PM from the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Nash Cemetery. Mrs. Maxwell died Sunday morning, November 20, 2016 in Curahealth in Nashville. She was born November 21, 1953 in Smith County to the late Yune Earl and Ruby Carolyn Smith Rice. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by son-in-law Tommy Wilmoth and sister Jan Rice Thomas. She was a retired secretary with T. Thomas and Associates. She was a member of Union Grove Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include husband of 32 years Wilbur Maxwell of Baxter (Married June 26, 1982 in Smith County, TN), five daughters and sons-in-law Ginger (Chad) Flatt of Livingston, Niki (Blake) Grogan of Cookeville, Cindy Wilmoth of Chestnut Mound, Kim (Doug) Whitehair of Baxter, Charlotte Anderson of North Carolina, one son Craig Carr of Lafayette, 13 grandchildren: Courtney Maxwell, Hutson Grogan, Lee Flatt, Dakota Flatt, Cheyanne Flatt, Tommy Wilmoth, Ruby Yancey, Jessica Tyree, Kaitlyn Carr, Steven Hughes, Casey Hughes, Jason Arms and Shawn Smith, 9 great-grandchildren. Rev. Harold Walker will officiate. Active Pallbearers will be Lee and Dakota Flatt, Tommy Wilmoth, Joey Herren, Tony and Zane Maxwell, Caleb Stewart, Craig Carr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Zack and Perry Stewart and Holden Walker. Family will receive friends from Monday from 5 to 8 PM and after10 AM Tuesday until service time.
