Memorial Services for Franklin Craig Massey, 52 of Cookeville will be Sunday, March 22 at 2 PM at Cookeville Life Church with Pastor David Corley officiating. Mr. Massey died Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was born October 31, 1962, in Montgomery, Alabama, to Deloris Davis Frizzell and the late Clyde Henry Frizzell. He was a 1981 graduate of Holdrege Senior High School in Holdrege, Nebraska. He was an Army Veteran and member of Cookeville Life Church. He was currently a student at Tennessee College of Applied Technology at Crossville, TN in the Auto Technology Class due to graduate in April. He enjoyed fishing, visiting the ocean, cars and was an avid animal lover. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his adoptive father, Floyd Massey and a special Uncle Raymond Massey. Survivors include wife of 6 years Teresa "TERRY" Hrasok Massey (Married October 9, 2008 in Putnam County) of Cookeville, adoptive mother Marrieta "SALLY" Rawson Massey of Holdrege, NE, daughters Sandi Massey and Kristi Massey both of Hinesville, GA., son and daughter-in-law Jason and Vicky Massey of Richmond Hill, GA, sisters Faye Fears of Bell Buckle, TN, Becky Massey of AZ, brothers Joel K. Massey, Ed Eugene Massey both of Nebraska, Scott Frizzell, Mike Massey of North Dakota, grandchildren: Phillip Jones, Jr., Kaylee Deloach, Abbygale Massey, Ramiek Young, Adelynn Massey, Keimar Young, special brother-in-law Anthony Hrasok of PA. Memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of Putnam County P.O. Box 995 Cookeville, TN 38503 or the Wounded Warrior Project.
