Frank Harris

Graveside Memorial Services for Frank William Harris, Sr. 88 of Monterey will be held at a later date in Washington, D.C. Mr. Harris died Tuesday, August 19, 2014 in Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville from injuries sustained in an auto accident. He was born June 3, 1926 in Capitol Heights, Maryland to the late Paul and Mary Dowling Harris. He was a retired self-employed construction contractor; he was of the Catholic Faith; his hobbies included fishing and gun-trading. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by wife Margaret G. Cowlfer Harris, sisters Ann and Mary, brothers Hal and Tim Harris. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Sherrell Ann and Jeff Curl of Hendersonville, Md., three sons and daughters-in-law F. William, Jr. and Sharon Harris of Daniels, W. VA, Ronald Harris of Croom, MD, Paul and Teri Harris of Felton, Delaware, seven grandchildren.
