Graveside services and entombment at the mausoleum for Mrs. Frances Ruth “Panny” Moore, age 91, of Cookeville, will be held Saturday, May 2, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Crest Lawn Cemetery. Pastor David Hill will officiate. Mrs. Moore passed away Sunday, April 5, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 17,1928 in the Twinton Community in Overton County to the late William and Ova Stover McDonald. As a young person, Mrs. Moore worked as a nursing assistant to Dr. C. A. Collins in Monterey. She later worked and retired from Teledyne-Stillman. Mrs. Moore was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed reading her Bible, having coffee with her Grand-Fur babies, gardening, watching birds and listening to music but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a role model for others, respectful, and loving. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her husband, the love of her life, Charles, three sisters Marie Jenkins, Louise Hall, and Laura Owens, brother, Norton McDonald, and infant brother, Price McDonald. She is survived by two daughters: Pam Romines and Denise (Steve) Vickers of Cookeville, TN, grandson, Jonathan (Becca) Romines; great grandchildren: Austin and Hannah Romines, great-great grandson, Grayson James Pridemore, grand-fur babies Maud and Tulula Vickers, former son-in-law, Kenneth Romines of Cookeville, TN Mrs. Moore also had a host of nieces and nephews. Special nephew, Steve McDonald, special nieces, Pat McGaughey, Sarah Hall Carter, Kathy Satterfield, Vicky McDonald, Jean Dunson and Linda Morgan, special great nephews, Tony Carter and Brian McGaughey, special cousin, Evelyn Guthrie, special friends Jan Schlegel, Carlen Vickers, Steve Tracy, Brenda Mullins and Debbie Davis Pallbearers will be Jonathan Romines, Steve McDonald, Tony Carter, William Holman, Steve Daniels and Robert Steakley. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Vickers, Austin Romines and Steve Tracy. The family wants to thank Dr. Brian Waggoner, Cookeville Regional Home Health Care, Avalon Hospice, Marty Donnelly, Steve McDonald and Tim Cash.
