Frances Maxwell

Private graveside services and interment for Mrs. Frances Ina Maxwell, age 97, of Cookeville, will be held at a later date in Algood City Cemetery. Mrs. Maxwell passed away Saturday, September 2, 2017 in Algood, TN at Signature Health Care of Putnam County. She was born September 12, 1919 in Canada to the late Fred and Mary Manchur. Mrs. Maxwell attended Stevens Street Baptist Church and volunteered at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, John Slyviuk; second husband, Jim Maxwell; son, Eugene Slyviuk; sister, Olive Manchur; and three brothers, Michael, Tony, and Joe Manchur. Memorial contributions may be made to Stevens Street Baptist Church, 327 West Stevens Street, Cookeville, TN 38501; or Meals on Wheels 1150 S.
