Faye Adams

A Celebration of Life Service for Lotta Faye Adams, age 70 of Cookeville, will be at 5 p.m. Thursday December 1 at Stevens Street Baptist Church. Pastor Scott Parkison and Pastor Tim Frank will officiate.

Her family will receive friends Thursday from 3 p.m. until service time at the church.

Faye passed away Sunday evening November 27, 2022 at Williamson County Medical Center after a brief illness.

She was born June 8, 1952 in Livingston, TN to the late Leamond and Melba Gore Savage.

Faye worked in the Imaging Department at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was a faithful member of Stevens Street Baptist Church.

Faye was an adored wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was strong, outgoing and a trusted friend. Most importantly, she was a follower of Jesus.

She is survived by two daughters, Sabrina (Greg) Perlongo and Amber Adams all of Cookeville; son, David (Janine) Adams of Bloomington Springs; two sisters, Carol Garrett and Anita (Larry) Hancock all of Livingston; brother, Lee (Brenda) Savage of Livingston; grandchildren, Tamra (Caleb) Jackson, Joseph Perlongo, Daniel (Lexie) Perlongo, Jason Payne, Nina (Daniel) Paul, Bryan (Madelyn) Harris, Tiffany (James) Reed, and Megan (Andrew) Atherton; great-grandchildren, Dominic Payne, Audrey Faye Jackson, Ashton Jackson, Daniel Paul, Leeah Paul, David Paul, Aayden Harris, Layne Harris, Jaxson McElvain, and Jaiden Reed; and an honorary grandson, Eric Kapamas.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Russell Adams; and two brothers, Cecil and Keith Boykin.
