Fannie Lou Swallows

Funeral services for Mrs. Fannie Lou Swallows, age 86, of Cookeville, will be 1 p.m. Monday November 12 at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home. Bro. Mike Adams will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Her family will receive friends Monday from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Swallows passed away Friday evening November 9, 2018 at NHC of Cookeville. She was born January 22, 1932 in Cookeville to the late Frank and Viola Wooten. Mrs. Swallows was a member of Mt. Pleasant Freewill Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Paul (Angeli) Swallows; two grandchildren, Emily (Jeremy) Jones and Wes Swallows; and two great-grandchildren, Jackson and Addie Lynn Jones, all of Cookeville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Burton Swallows; son, Stephen Swallows; daughter-in-law Marcia Swallows, and two brothers, Earl and Edward Wooten.
