Eunice Jones

Funeral Services for Eunice Herren Jones, 91 of Silver Point will be Wednesday, July 10 at 2 P.M. at Herrens Chapel Church of Christ with interment in G. V. Herren Family Cemetery. Mrs. Jones died Sunday Night, July 7, 2013 at her home. She was born April 17, 1922 in Putnam County to the late G. V. and Mary Thomas Herren. She was a homemaker and a wonderful seamstress. She was a member of Herrens Chapel Church of Christ. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Joe E. Jones, son and daughter-in-law Nelson and Ruby Clemons Jones, grandson Aaron Dale Jones, sisters Lois Phillips, Lucy Jones, Sue Rhea Nord, Mary Lou Herren and Dorothy Martin, brothers Howard Herren, Jere Herren and Zina Herren. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Joanna and Charles Dix, 2 sons and daughters-in-law Aaron and Kaye Jones, Rellon and Linda Jones all of Silver Point, brother and sister-in-law Charles (Bonnie) Herren of Cookeville, sister and brother-in-law Belle (John) Youngblood of Silver Point, sister-in-law Helen Herren of Baxter, grandchildren and spouses: Steven (Tricia ) Jones, Jamie Morgan, Joey (Heather) Jones, Eunessa (Jeff) Harris,Machelle (Eric) Cherry, Jeremiah (Megan) Jones, Leanna (Andy) Jestes and Tory (April) Dix, 21 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Bro. Phil Loftis and Bro. John Whitson will officiate. Pallbearers will be Joey Jones, Tory Dix, Jeremiah Jones, Cody Morgan, Levi Jones, Jeff Harris, Eric Cherry, Steven Jones and Andy Jestes. Family will receive friends at Herrens Chapel Church of Christ Tuesday from 5 to 8 P.M. and after 12 Noon Wednesday at the church. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
