Ermie "Nanny" Scantland

Graveside services and interment for Mrs. Ermie Lozena Buck Scantland, 78 of Cookeville will be held Sunday May 15 at 4 p.m. (E.D.T.) at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Sunbright, Morgan Co. Tennessee with Rev. Charles Webb officiating. Mrs. Scantland died suddenly Thursday morning May 12, 2011 at her home. She was born June 22, 1932 in Morgan County, Tennessee to the late Fred and Dolly Hall Buck. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Haskell Lee Scantland of Gainesboro, TN, a daughter, Sherry Scantland; sister, Wanda Buck, and two brothers, J. L. and Eddie Paul Buck. She was of the protestant faith; a homemaker; and a former associate of Oster"�s Incorporated with 12 years of service. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley & Harris Williams of Lebanon, TN, and Theresa & Tony Ford of Cookeville; four sons and a daughter-in-law, Rocky & Linda Scantland, Ricky Scantland, Roger Scantland, and Robert Scantland; six grandchildren, Amy Williams, Ashley (Chris) Ferrell, Hayley Williams, Brandon Ford, April (Dallas) Shackleford, and Candice (Bo) Power; five great grandchildren, Lilly Ferrell, Trent Power, Emmalee, Anabelle, and Myatt Shackleford. Mrs. Scantland"�s family will receive friends Saturday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. (E.D.T.)at Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home in Cookeville and Sunday immediately following services at the cemetery in Sunbright.
