Funeral services for Emma Sue Green, 71 of Cookeville, formerly of Silver Point, will be Monday, December 14 at 1 pm from the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Palmer Cemetery. Mrs. Green passed away Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born August 9, 1944 in Michigan to the late Ivle and Minnie Elrod Sadler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Alvin "BUD" Green. He was a veteran and Sue supported veterans and their causes. She loved to read and work in the garden. Survivors include daughter Betty Oliver of Rockmart, GA, granddaughters: Brandi Voils and Bianca Culpepper, great-grandchildren: Alexia, Makalyn, Noah and Amaya. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Sue's family will receive friends Sunday from 4 to 8 and Monday after 11 am at the funeral home.
