Ellen Genette Bagwell

Funeral services for Ellen Genette Bagwell will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2009 from the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Double Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 24, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Dyer Funeral Home. Mrs. Bagwell passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at her home. She was born June 5, 1923 in Cookeville TN to the late John D. McHenry and Vella Lee Scarlett McHenry. Mrs. Bagwell was a homemaker and loving mother who served her community as a Registered Nurse retiring from the Livingston Community Hospital. She was a member of the Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ. Her family includes three children: Genetta Holt and husband Myke of Tucson AZ, Mary Stoltz and husband David of Cookeville, and John Bagwell and wife LouEllyn of Birmingham AL: and eleven grandchildren: Dustyn, Ryan, and Tyson Holt; Denton, Derrick, and Davis Bagwell; Hannah, Suellen, and Sarah Scott; and Joyce and Samantha Stoltz. . She was preceded in death by her late husband, Walter Fred Bagwell and her parents, John D. McHenry and Vella Lee Scarlett McHenry. Rev. Hugh McHenry will be officiating the services.
