Elizabeth Maxwell

Funeral services for Elizabeth Faye Maxwell, age 74, of Cookeville, will be held Thursday, April 4th at 11 a.m. in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home with Bro. Myron Greer officiating. Interment will follow in the Maxwell Cemetery South. The family will receive friends Wednesday 5 - 8 p.m. and again on Thursday from 9 a.m. until service time. Ms. Maxwell passed away Sunday, March 31, 2019 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born April 20, 1944 in Putnam County, TN to the late Verdie Bill Maxwell and Lola Caroline Massa Maxwell. Elizabeth worked as an associate for Aquatech. She was a member of New Beginning Assembly of God Church. In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by four brothers, Donnell, Douglas, Phillip and Frank Maxwell. She is survived by two daughters, Amy (Randy) Brown of Baxter, TN and Sandy Durham of Trenton, TN; two brothers, Kenneth "Buck" and Wilbur Maxwell both of Baxter; grandchildren, Amanda (Brian) Gordon, Matthew Brown, Sarah Brown; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
