COOKEVILLE CHAPEL - Elizabeth Collins Hendricks, a beloved homemaker and dedicated family caregiver, passed away peacefully on Wednesday March 12, 2025, at The Palace Health Care and Rehabilitation in Red Boling Springs, TN. Born on January 10, 1964, in Nashville, TN, Elizabeth's life was marked by her gentle spirit and unwavering love for those around her.
Raised on a farm in Bon Aqua, TN, Elizabeth developed an easygoing nature and a sweet disposition that endeared her to many. She was known not only for her nurturing role within her family but also for her remarkable talents as a writer. Elizabeth poured her heart into crafting children's stories and poetry, leaving a legacy of literary joy that will continue to inspire young minds.
Her passion for cooking was another testament to her loving character. Elizabeth often shared meals that brought family and friends together, reinforcing the sense of community and love she cherished deeply. A devout Christian, she lived her life devoted to the Lord, embodying the principles of faith, kindness and forgiveness.
Elizabeth is survived by her cherished sisters, Emily Lamberson and Mary Ann Stewart (Andy). Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Rebecca Pruitt, AJ Steel, Rachel Andrea, Gabriel Lamberson, and Lucille Lamberson; and special friends, Albert Cashner, Cynthia Holt, and Craig Curry.
She was predeceased by her parents, Richard James Hendricks and Etta Lucille Middleton Hendricks, as well as her siblings, William Beasley, James Hendricks, Julia Groome, and Marjorie Baldrey.
A graveside service at Cooper Cemetery in Lyles, TN is being planned for a later date.
