Elaine will be lovingly remembered as “Nana” by her daughter, Melissa (Mike)Owens; Grandchildren: Chase (Megan) Winningham, Paige (Aaron) Patterson, Tristan (Erika) Nabors, Trey (Elizabeth Chaffin), and Ashley Owens. Great-grandchildren: Ronnie and Boady Winningham, Elaina and Madden Patterson, Karter Nabors, Malachi Chaffin, and Beckham Apgar; Daughter in law: Misty Nabors; Brother: Danny (Pam)Dunson, and a host of nieces and nephews who adored “Aunt Elaine”. Elaine will be dearly missed by her friends, cousins, and church family.

She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Ronnie Nabors; her beloved son Chad Nabors; sisters Onita Rutherford and Linda Blair as well as her parents, Ernest and Flora Dee Thomas Dunson.

Elaine was a devout member of Bussell Church of Christ where she worshipped many years. Elaine attended every open service always eager for the lesson. Elaine retired from Fleetguard after 45 years of dedicated service where she developed life-long friendships. Elaine currently worked part time at Innovative Family Care where she was delighted to greet patients and enjoyed her work family.

Nana loved the Lord and reading her Bible every night. She cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who meant the world to her and she was very proud of them all. Nana loved traveling to see family and new exciting things. She loved getting her nails done, and talking on the phone for hours.

Nana loved to sing hymns and knew them all by heart. Everyone who knew Nana was drawn to her soft, gentle spirit of acceptance and love. Her legacy will be forever etched on our hearts.
