Elaine Mcdermott

Elaine Ann McDermott, age 69, of Cookeville, passed away Saturday morning July 20, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born November 15, 1949 in Erlanger, KY to the late Bernard Lawrence and Ann Behler Tobergte. Elaine was a member of St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Gerald McDermott, whom she married April 25, 1970 at St. Clements Church in Saint Bernard, OH; two sons, Tim (Stacia) McDermott, Shawn (Jennifer) McDermott, all of Cookeville; sister, Mary Kammer of Cincinnati, OH; two brothers, Don (Carla) Tobergte, and Bernie (Patti) Tobergte, all of Cincinnati; and six grandchildren, Annie Kate, and Eva, Tyler, Kyla, Amanda, and Samantha McDermott. Elaine's family will receive friends Monday from 5 - 8 p.m. at Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. She will be taken to Cincinnati for further services and interment at St. Joseph Cemetery.
