Edna Muddiman

Edna Harrison Muddiman, age 99, passed away on Sunday January 22, 2023 at Heritage Pointe Senior Living in Cookeville, Tennessee.

Edna was born on September 6, 1923 to Walter Allen and Olla Virginia Beavers Harrison in the Broad Run community of Loudoun County, Virginia. She was the second of 6 children. She married Harold Julian Muddiman Sr on February 16, 1942 in Washington, DC.

She was a long time resident of Great Falls, Virginia and as well as Lake Junaluska, NC.

She is survived by her children Harold Jr(Jane) Muddiman of Richmond, Virginia, Sheila(Bill)Fite of Tampa, FL, Donald Muddiman of Harrisburg, PA, and Betsy(Eddie) Denton of Cookeville; sister Audrey Ward of Eustis, FL; grandchildren John, Mark, and Aaron Muddiman, Brian Fite, Laura Denton Whitley, and William and Caroline Denton; and 4 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; and her siblings Mildred Creel, Lawrence Harrison, Ralph Harrison, and Barbara Sorrells.

A memorial service is planned for a later date at the Arnon Cemetery in Great Falls, Virginia.
