Ed Sieber

Funeral services for Mr. Edward George Sieber Sr., Age 79, of Cookeville, will be 1 p.m. Wednesday August 30 at Dyer Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Bode officiating. Interment will follow at Crest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mr. Sieber passed away Sunday, August 27, 2017 at his home in Cookeville. He was born October 21, 1937 in Buffalo, NY to the late Edward and Rose Yeager Sieber. Mr. Sieber was retired from Leisure Life in Baxter, TN. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed target shooting at Bend of the River. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Shannon Carter. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Nell Jean Stafford Sieber, who he married August 18, 2001 in Cookeville; three sons and daughter-in-law, Joel and Denise Sieber, Ed Sieber Jr., and Jason Wheeler; four daughters and son-in-law, Kim Sieber, Sue and John Johnson, Alecia Wheeler, and Tammy Wheeler; two sisters, Rose Zinlinski, and Jeanette Noel; 18 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Ed Sieber, Joel Sieber, Scott Sieber, Logan Sieber, Brad Sieber, and Jeff Mott will serve as pallbearers. Dyer funeral Home is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
