Ed Hull

Memorial services for Ralph Edward Hull, age 75, of Cookeville, will be held Wednesday February 26 at 6:00 pm at Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home. Pastor Ben Hull will officiate. Interment will be in the Paran Cemetery at a later date. His family will receive friends Wednesday from 4 p.m. until time of the services. Mr. Hull passed away Saturday February 22, 2020 at his home. He was born August 24, 1944 in Overton Co, TN to the late Cleo Ensley and Elizabeth Wright Hull. Mr. Hull attended The River Community Church. He was a residential builder and owned and operated Edward Hull and Sons Construction for over 50 years in the Cookeville area. If you ever had a chance to talk with him, you knew he worked hard and loved his family. He was especially proud of his nine grandchildren and was married to his sweetheart, Jessie Shelley, for nearly 45 years. The family is comforted that they are once again together in heaven. His family includes daughters, Rebecca Maynard (Brandon) and Alice Simcox (Matt) of Cookeville; sons, Ben Hull (Leslie) and Will Hull all of Cookeville; grandchildren, Eli, Jonah, Maggie and Lucy Hull; Olivia and Carson Maynard; Addie, Fisher and Noble Simcox; sisters, Inez Padgett of Cleveland, TN, Karen Looper of Monterey, and Meredith Hull of Algood; brothers, Paul Hull and Roger (Pauline) Hull all of Monterey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his of 45 years wife, Jessie Glenda Shelley Hull; brother, John Hull; and father and mother-in-law, Glea and Margaret Norris Shelley.
