Funeral services for Mr. Earl Mark (Big Orange) Wilmoth, age 63 of Cookeville, will be held Monday April 20th at 1 p.m. in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home. Pastor David Corley will officiate. Burial with military honors will follow at Algood Cemetery. His family will receive friends Sunday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again Monday from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mr. Wilmoth died suddenly Friday morning, April 17, 2015 at his home. He was born October 28, 1951 in Cookeville to the late Earl Alvin Wilmoth and O.V. Neal Wilmoth Livingston. Mr. Wilmoth attended Cookeville Senior High School. He enlisted in the United States Army and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was employed in construction as a heavy equipment crane operator. He loved animals, especially his dogs, and enjoyed music, golf, and spending time with his Family and Friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two infant sisters, Mary Angela and Marcia Ann Wilmoth. He is survived by his; Son, Earl Mark Wilmoth, Jr. (fiancée, Jessica Hargis); Daughter, Jennifer Wilmoth; Grandchildren, LeShay Mahler, Paxton Mahler, Michael Chesley Proffitt and Cara Drake; Great Grandchildren, David Tucker Gentry and Sophia Spurlock; Sisters, Kathy and Brother in Law Kenneth Maxwell and Robin Wilmoth; Brother, Anthony Wilmoth; and by his children's Mother, Patricia ‘Pat' Sharp. Family and friends will be pallbearers.
