Dot Koons

Dorothy "Dot" Jane Koons, age 70 of Pulaski, TN, passed away Friday March 24, 2023 at her daughter's home in Cookeville. Memorial services are being planned for a later date.

Dot was born April 7, 1952 in Pulaski to the late Louis White and Sally Newton White Davis.

Dot was outgoing, never met a stranger, and had a knack for bringing a smile to everyone she interacted with. She had a talent for bringing new life to old things, especially antiques. Dot was also an advocate for children with disabilities.

She is survived by her children, Tina Mangrum, Dale (Ranee) Glidden, Lori (Paul) Demant, Hope Glidden, Heather Simmons, Richard Glidden, Rachel (Justin) Vann, and Caleb Davis; siblings, Julia Ann Shedd, Rita (Jesus) Jaramillo, Reba (Fred) Strell, and Robert (Coral) Davis; sister-in-law, Pat Davis; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gerald Don Davis.
