Dorothy Johnson

Funeral services for Ms. Dorothy Johnson, 88 of Algood, will be held Wednesday August 20th at 1 p.m. in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Cookeville City Cemetery. Rev. Charlie Hutchinson and Rev. Bill Stone will officiate. Ms. Johnson's family will receive friends Wednesday from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Ms. Johnson died Monday August 18, 2014 in Bethesda Health Care Center. She was born November 1, 1925 in Barbourville, KY to the late Charles and Hester Wagers Keene. She was a homemaker. She and her late husband were members of Cookeville First Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, James ‘Jim' Johnson; son, Robert Charles ‘R.C.' Callahan; and by a brother, Charles Keene Jr. Survivors include her daughters Shawna (Kenny) Delon of Spencer, TN, Sherry Thatcher of Smithville, TN and Jewel Rosinski of Baxter; son, Raymond (Ann) Daniels of Cookeville; grandchildren, Karen Smith,Travis Bryant, Tristan Bryant, Rachael Delon, Garin Delon, Donna Ray Daniels and Tim Daniels; great grandchildren, Annabelle Bryant, Tyler Bryant, Everett Bryant, Seth Daniels and Kelsey Geer; and by nieces and nephews, Wanda Keene, Darlene Keene, Tony Keene and Timothy Keene. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorial contributions may be made to Barbra Streisand Women's Heart Center, Cedars-Sinai, 127 S.
