Donna Sue Robinson

BAXTER CHAPEL-Donna Sue Robinson, a beloved community member and dedicated public servant, passed away peacefully at her home in Silver Point, Tennessee, on Thursday, February 13, 2025. She was 86. Born on June 9, 1938, in Silver Point, she devoted over 40 years to serving as the Cookeville Senior Citizens Center and later served as Director, where she was known for her warm heart and unwavering dedication to helping others.

Donna was an active member of the Silver Point Church of Christ, embodying the spirit of community support. She had a great passion for cooking, delighting in preparing meals that brought family and friends together. Her talents extended beyond the kitchen; she enjoyed shopping and sewing, creating beautiful clothing for those she loved.

Throughout her life, Donna was described as a loving person who consistently put others before herself, earning her the affectionate title of the "Best Mom." She cherished spending time with her family and friends, creating countless memories that will be treasured forever.

She is survived by her two sons, Randy (Donna) Robinson of Cookeville and Rick (Kim) Robinson of Smyrna; her daughter, Pamela (Mark) Citro of Ocean, NJ; her brother, Clark (Jackie) Thomas of Silver Point; and her grandchildren, Tiffany, Chessa, Shane, and Justin; and great grandchildren, Christopher, Cole, and Rachel.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin Luther Thomas and Vennie Lee Palmer Thomas; her husband, Glen Edward Robinson, who passed away on January 7, 2021; and her grandson, Jonathan Robinson.

Visitation will be held at Baxter Chapel Hopper-Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home, 532 4th Ave. South, Baxter, TN on Monday, February 17, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and again on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Bro. Luke Wilken will officiate. Interment will follow the service at Crest Lawn Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate Donna's life, remembering her profound impact on those around her.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
