Donna Johnson

Funeral services for Ms Donna Sue Johnson of Cookeville will be held Thursday October 6 at 1 p.m. in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in West End Church Church of Christ Cemetery. Rev. Earl Dirkson will officiate. Ms. Johnson died suddenly Monday evening October 3, 2011 at her home. She was born December 8, 1957 in Putnam County, Tennessee to Mrs. Virginia Johnson of Silver Point. She attended Trinity Baptist Church in Cookeville and served a number of years as a correction officer with the Putnam County Sherriff"�s Department. She was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Johnson. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Willie & Tina Maddux of Cookeville; three grandchildren, Solomon Maddux, Jasai Maddux, and Mya Maddux; four sisters, Linda (Floyd) Cartwright of Algood, Kathy Johnson of Silver Point, Patsy (Bob) Gist of Cookeville, and Judy Bailey of Algood and two brothers, Ronnie and Randy Johnson both of Silver Point. Ms. Johnson"�s family will receive friends Thursday from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
