Funeral Services for Donald Tucker, 58 of Silver Point will be Thursday, February 19 at 1 P.M. from the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home with interment in Palmer Cemetery. Mr. Tucker died Monday, February 16, 2015 at his home. He was born June 21, 1956 in Carthage to the late Bradley "BRAD" and Ada Malone Tucker. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Linda Tucker; brothers Jimmy , Jerry, David, Danny and Ronnie Tucker. He was a graduate of Upperman High School in Baxter. He was an avid tobacco farmer and logged with his brother, Ronnie for 37 years. He loved fishing and liked to go to Dollywood. He was a member of Silver Point Baptist Church. Survivors include wife of 28 years Valissa Shively Tucker (Married October 31, 1986 in Carthage, TN) , daughter Tracy Tucker, son Casey Tucker all of Silver Point, special sister-in-law Shelley Tucker of Buffalo Valley, special friends Willodean Scruggs and Mark Pedigo. Active Pallbearers will be Mark Pedigo, Bobby Cowan, Brandon Tucker, Danny Tucker, Melvin Anderson and Luke Green. Bro. Tony Crow will officiate. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 4 to 8 P.M. and after 10 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home
