Dona Vee Haney

Graveside services for Dona Vee Haney, age 91 of Cookeville, will be at 1 p.m. Monday December 13 at the Beavercreek Township Cemetery in Beavercreek, OH. Her family will receive friends from 5 - 7 p.m. on Friday December 10 at the Dyer Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home. Dona passed away Wednesday evening December 8, 2021 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born June 7, 1930 in Hale County, AL to the late Robert Ford and Tennessee Henry Ford. Dona was retired from Ohio Bell Telephone with over 30 years of service. She is survived by her husband 64 years, Donald Eugene Haney, whom she married May 25, 1957; sister, Jean Noble of Cookeville; grandchildren, David (Lisa) Haney of Great Falls, MT, and Roger (Rachel) Haney of Kentucky; great grandchildren, Kevin, Kimbly, and Andrew Haney. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Rodger Dale Haney; and great grandson, Christopher Lloyd Haney.
