Don Mack

Private graveside services for Don Mack, age 71, of Rickman, will be at a later date at Cookeville City Cemetery. Don passed away Friday evening September 22, 2017 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born January 21, 1946 in Cleveland, OH to the late John and Mildred Wojciechowski Makselan. Don was employed at Pick N Pay in Maple Heights, OH and later retired from Goodyear Tires prior to moving to Tennessee. He was an ordained minister and offered support to grieving families by officiating at funeral services. He counseled and befriended grieving families and supported them throughout their loss. Don was a member of Stevens Street Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Gale Kukral Mack, who he married November 7, 1975 in Cleveland, OH; son, Steven Mack of Rickman; step-sons, Adam J. Kukoleck and Michael D. (Carla) Kukoleck of Tulsa, OK; two brothers, Patrick Makselan of Painesville, OH, John (Cindy) Makselan of Canfield, OH; sister, Sandra (Ken) Schlosser of Walton Hills, OH; and two grandchildren, Josiah and Jedidiah Kukoleck. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Makselan, and an infant sister, Patricia Makselan. Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
