Don Gatts

Donald Lee Gatts Sr. age 78, passed from this life on Saturday, November 7, 2020. He was born in Washington D.C. to the late Raymond Chester and Lydia Olive Gatts. He had two brothers and two sisters all of whom preceded him in death. Don was a retiree of Fleetguard with over 37 years of service. He was also a Shriner and Marine Corps Veteran. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Janie Gatts, one son, Donnie Gatts, and one grandson, Lee and his wife Jorie Gatts. He is also survived by an extended family of 8 sister in laws, 4 brother in laws and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday November 10 at the Algood Family Event Center, 124 First Ave., Algood, TN. Interment with military honors will follow at the Algood City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 5 - 8 p.m. and again Tuesday from 9 a.m. until service. Due to COVID-19 precautions, social distancing and use of masks are encouraged.
