Della Hunter

Arbadella "Della" Hunter, a loving and faith-filled woman, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2023, at NHC Cookeville. Born on December 26, 1936, in Monroe County, KY, Della was a beacon of love and faith to all who knew her.

Della was the cherished daughter of the late Ralph and Auda Claiborn Beaty. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Kenneth Hunter, her dear son, Kenneth Lynn Hunter, and her sisters, Ruth Alexander and Nell Horn. Della is survived by her devoted daughter, Marsha Lynette Pegram (Eric), and her adored granddaughter, Monica Kennamer (Andrew). Her family will remember her as a woman of immense love and unwavering faith.

Della was a hardworking individual who dedicated many years to Signature Health Care Nursing Home in housekeeping before her retirement.

A woman of deep faith, Della was a charter member of Eastwood Baptist Church. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, providing her with strength and comfort throughout her years.

Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Monday October 9 at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home. Bro. Larry Self will officiate. Her family will receive friends Monday from 12 p.m. until service time.
