Funeral services for Mrs. Delia Candia Bertran Bock, age 94, of Cookeville will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday December 6 at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home with Pastor Ted Kocher officiating. Interment will follow at Cookeville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 - 7 p.m. and again Wednesday from 12 noon until service time. Mrs. Bock passed away Thursday morning on November 30, 2017 at Signature Health Care of Putnam County. She was born October 28, 1923 in Humacao, Puerto Rico to the late Juan and Felecita Bertran. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Bock; brothers, William Bertran, Juan J. Bertran, Roberto Bertran, Gorge Bertran and Felix Bertran; sisters, Bennie Herman and Paulita Torrellas. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, John and Charlotte Bock of Cookeville; daughter, Margaret Bock of La Mirada, CA; brother, Santiago Bertran of Oviedo, FL; two sisters and brother-in-law, Angie Freire of Temecula, CA, and Gloria and Andrew Laroche of Orlando, FL; four grandchildren, Nathan (Sarah) Bock, Andrew Bock, Christina (Curtis) Stolaas of Huntsville, AL, and Jason Overholser; and five great-grandchildren.
