Deborah Cape

Memorial services for Deborah "Debbie" Faye Cape, 67 of Cookeville, will be Sunday, February 26 at 3 PM at the Dyer Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Dishman officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1 to 3 PM at the funeral home.

Mrs. Cape passed away Thursday, February 23, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born November 4, 1955 in Cookeville to the late Delbert and Melba Allison Dilldine.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters Jacqueline Dilldine and Patricia Ann Dilldine.

She was a retired machine operator with Tutco of Cookeville with 43 years of service.

Deborah enjoyed listening and watching Joel Osteen on TV, Wheel of Fortune, square dancing, line dancing. She spent many years on a square dancing team and competed in competions at the Smithville Jamboree. She also loved working in her flower garden. Debbie was a great cook and enjoyed spending time with family, friends and her dog Buddy.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Tiffany and Russell Smith of Cookeville; grandchildren, Logan and Callie Smith; brother, Gary Dilldine of Baxter; special friend, Robert Smith; her pet dog Buddy.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorial contributions to her grandchildren's college funds.
