Debbie Sparks

Deborah (Debbie) Sue Sparks, 48, of Baxter, Tennessee passed away on October 8, 2023 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Debbie is survived by her brother Paul Sparks, his wife Marsha, and their adult child Izzy; sister Rachel Mayes and her husband Barry, and their adult children Cora and Annabelle; as well as many cousins, aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lester and Peggy Sparks, her infant twin sister Dinah Lynn, and grandparents.

Born on July 14, 1975 in Richmond, Virginia, Debbie had great love for her family and for God. She worshipped with the Cumberland Heights Church of Christ. She enjoyed designing greeting cards and sending them to encourage and cheer those going through difficult times and to celebrate life's events.

Debbie graduated from Tennessee Tech with her Bachelors in 1999. She worked in the costume department at Colonial Williamsburg and in retail sales.

A memorial service will be held at the O'Connor Church of Christ on October 16, 2023 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cookeville-Putnam County Animal Shelter or Happy Haven Children's Home.
