Dean Wilson

Mr. Harold "Dean" Wilson, 85, of Cookeville, died Tuesday morning, July 8, 2014 at his residence. He was born September 13, 1928, in Corbin, Kentucky to the late Floyd and Ollie Delph Wilson. Mr. Wilson was a member of Collegeside Church of Christ and was a retired civil service employee, working in logistics and procurement with the United States Air Force. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Mrs. Julie "Bruce" Wilson (who died February 19, 2011). Survivors include two daughters and sons in law, Deana and Lance Persson of Cookeville and Donna and Mark Hammons of Dayton, Ohio; two grandchildren, Tyler Dean Persson and wife Katie Stribling Persson, and Lucas Hammons; and by a sister, Kyra Ketron of Nashville. Mr. Wilson's family will receive friends Thursday evening July 10th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Collegeside Church of Christ. A Private Family Memorial Service will be held immediately following the visitation.
