David Larry Goodson

David Larry Goodson, 75 of Baxter, died Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at his home. His wishes of cremation are being honored and no services are planned. He was born November 19, 1944 in Chattanooga to the late Joseph Columbus and Lillian Goodson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers: Joe and Bobby Goodson. He was a retired textile operator with DuPont of Chattanooga, working from April 5, 1964 until retiring on February 28, 2010 with almost 46 years of service. He was a member of Eastland Baptist Church. He enjoyed mowing his yard and hunting arrowheads. He loved children and animals. He made good biscuits and cornbread. He was a simple man and a friend to all. Survivors include his loving wife of 29 years, (Married May 4, 1991 in Hickman County, TN) Wanda June Bell Goodson of Baxter, step-daughter April Darlene Friechlich, step-son Timothy Daryl Crane of Chattanooga.
