Funeral services for Earl David Lacy, 71 of Cookeville, will be held Monday June 20 at 3 pm from the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Frank officiating. Interment will follow at Crest Lawn Cemetery. Mr. Lacy"�s family will receive friends Sunday from 4 "� 8 pm and again Monday from 2 pm until service time. Mr. Lacy died Friday June 17, 2011 in the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born October 15, 1939 in Cookeville, TN to the late William Denton Lee and Laura Nell Bradford Lacy. Mr. Lacy was a member of Stevens Street Baptist Church and volunteered with the Care Center outreach. He was an U.S. Air Force veteran and was retired with U. S. Postal Service with over 31 years of service. Mr. Lacy loved to spend time with family and friends. He is fondly remembered for his humor and his affection for the game of golf. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Rowena Lollar Lacy (whom he married December, 25, 1957 in Cookeville); two sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Cheryl Lacy of Pawleys Island, SC, Ken and Kim Lacy of Lorton, VA; two brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Claudine Lacy of Cookeville, Alvin and Barbara Lacy of Sparta; grandchildren, Chadwick Lacy, DeLany (Tristan) Meier, Kendra (Casey) Stacks, Krista (Josh) Trisco, Kyler Lacy; three great grandchildren, Amelia Lacy, Brody Meier and Aiydan Wright and a fourth great grandson soon to be born Bentley Trisco; nephews Jeff (Karen) Lacy, Bill (Susie) Lacy; niece, Avalyn Lacy, great niece, Megan Lacy. Honorary pallbearers will be Mr. Lacy"�s golfing buddies. Active pallbearers will be Kyler Lacy, Chad Lacy, Tristan Meier, Josh Trisco, Casey Stacks, Jeff Lacy and Bill Lacy.
