BAXTER-Funeral services for David Glen "Moon" Bullington, 68, of Nashville, will be Saturday, April 7 at 1 PM from the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Samuel Maxwell Cemetery with military honors by the Veterans Honor Guard. A Rosary service will be held Friday at 7 PM. Mr. Bullington died Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. He was born February 23, 1950 in Highland Park, Michigan to the late Glen Joseph and Mary Kathleen O'Neal Bullington. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Garry John Bullington, Daryl Paul Bullington, and Ricky Harold Bullington. He attended Berkley, Michigan High School and Jackson County High School. He also attended Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro. He was Biomedical Engineer with the Veterans Hospital in Nashville. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, cooking, talking politics, was a Trump supporter and a model train collector. He attended St. Henry's Catholic Church in Nashville. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. Survivors include wife Eureva Elmore of Nashville (formerly of Baxter), sons David Eli (Michelle) Bullington of Knoxville, Glen Paul (Katherine) Bullington of Murfreesboro, daughter Summer Skow (Andrew Butterfield) of Mesa, AZ, sisters Martha (Mark) Grantham of Tullahoma, Kathy (Frank) Vogt of Warren, MI, grandchildren: Destiny Bullington, Chesney Bullington, Sophia Bullington, David Ladd Bullington, Leann Bullington, Joseph Bullington, David Skow and Gemma Butterfield, and several nieces and nephews. Eric Brown and David Eli Bullington will officiate. Active Pallbearers will be Harold Brown, Herbert Allison, Lynell Elmore, Justin Brown, Brett Harris and Tootie Petty. Memorial donations are requested to the Samuel Maxwell Cemetery Fund @ Harold Brown, 1069 Elmore Town Rd. Baxter, TN 38544.
