David Brown

Funeral services for David Brown Jr., age 43 of Cookeville, were held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home. Rev. Roger Cooper officiated. The family received friends Friday from 11 a.m. until service time. Social distancing and the use of masks were appreciated. David passed away suddenly Thursday January 14, 2021 at his home. He was born January 16, 1977 in Chicago, IL to David Brown Sr. of New Orleans, LA and the late Rochelle Oquin. David was employed with YAPP USA Automotive Systems in Gallatin, TN. He is survived by his wife, Shannon Allen Brown; sons, Cody Allen and Terrance Chester; daughters, Mariah Lennox and Paisley Livingston; brothers, Richard Paul Brown, Maurice Michael Brown, Neal Sampson, and Darrick Brown; and sisters, Desiree Bernard, Nieysha Brown, Lavergne Cooper, and Arise Hitchen In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Chester Brown Sr. and Annie Laura Brown; maternal grandfather, Sam Oquin; brothers, David Charles Brown Jr. and Felton Joseph Brown; and sister, Annie Laura Brown.
