David Errol Albury, age 81, of Cookeville, Tennessee, died October 11, 2022 at his home in Cookeville, TN.


David is survived by his wife, Frances Connell Knowles - Albury and two sons, Daniel Harry Albury and Allen David Albury, Grandson, Michael Albury and his mother Robin Rose Albury.

Brother, Michael Larry Albury and wife Janet Constance Knowles Albury and nephew Christopher Albury and wife Elizabeth Helfrich Albury, niece Jennifer Albury Gulliford married to Jayson Gulliford.

Sister, Joan Kathleen Albury and nephew Brandon Joseph Albury.

David and his family emigrated from Nassau Bahamas in 1973 and settled in Miami Florida and later in Ft. Lauderdale FL. Now American Citizens, in 2008 he and his family moved to Cookeville Tennessee where his career continued in sales and merchandising until his retirement in 2020.


Predeceased by his parents, The Honorable Joseph T. Albury and his mother Byrle Maud Albury both of Harbour Island and Nassau Bahamas.


David was a graduate of Miami Military Academy in May, 1960 and Wesley college in Dover Delaware in June 1963.


David was a member of the Nassau Rotary Club in the Bahamas and an avid spear fisherman up through 1973 and beyond returning to the Islands from Miami to enjoy his family, the sea and boating. Much of his life story is portrayed in a pictorial memoir "Pink Sand Footprints at Harbour Island" written by his wife last year and published by Argyle Fox Publishing.


In 2008, David and his wife, immediately joined in prayer and fellowship groups and services at The River Community Church here in Cookeville, TN. Currently they attend services at First Baptist Church Cookeville and fellowship with The Happy Travelers where he and his wife enjoyed new friendships and seeing more of our neighboring states and the beautiful attractions here in Tennessee.
