Darrell Glenn Rittenberry

COOKEVILLE -- Funeral services for Darrell Glenn Rittenberry, 30, of Cookeville, will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 19, at Dyer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Shipley Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 18, and from 11 a.m. until time of services on Thursday at the funeral home. Mr. Rittenberry died Sunday, Feb. 15, 2009, at his home in Cookeville. He was born April 5, 1978, in Putnam County to Becky and Darrell Rittenberry. Mr. Rittenberry was a strong believer in the Christian faith. In addition to his parents, his family includes two children, Daniel and Summer Rittenberry; a brother, Darrick Rittenberry; two sisters, Mary Beth Bohannon and Tracy Gaw; his best friend, Eric Luke; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold and Helen Montgomery and John and Velma Rittenberry. Pallbearers will be Eric Luke, Mike Thomas, Matthew Maddle, Brian Luke, Stephen Rinehart and Clayton Crider. Bro. Johnny Fox will officiate at the services.
