Danny Stanton

Memorial Services for Danny "SAWDUST" James Stanton, 50 of Hendersonville, TN and formerly of Baxter will be Saturday, Nov. 16 at 5 P.M. at Boma First Church of God with Bro. Tim Sharp officiating. There will be a private family interment service at Stanton Family Cemetery at a later date. Mr. Stanton was dead on arrival Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Hendersonville Medical Center. He was born June 17, 1963 in Cookeville to James and Sherron Faith Medlock Stanton of Baxter. He was a 1981 graduate of Upperman High School in Baxter where he played on the football team. He loved fishing, hunting, motorcycle riding and 4-Wheeling with the kids. He was employed as a Driller with Summit Construction of Hendersonville. Survivors in addition to his parents include daughter Chelsey Stanton, son and daughter-in-law Dustin and Chelsey D. Stanton all of Baxter, sister and brother-in-law Tammy and Hank Guess of Cookeville, brother and sister-in-law Jacob and Heather Stanton of Mumbai, India, former wife of 23 years Teresa Vinson Stanton of Baxter,special friend Mary Frances "Frankie" Keith of Hendersonville. Memorial Contributions may be made to Boma First Church of God 10630 Old Baxter Road, Baxter, TN. 38544 %Bro. Tim Sharp. Family will receive friends at the church Saturday after 4 P.M.
