Danny Davis

April 27, 1956 — March 8, 2024

Graveside services and interment for Mr. Danny K. Davis, age 67 of Cookeville, will be held Sunday, March 10, 2024 at 2:00 pm in the Isom Cemetery.


Visitation will follow the service at the cemetery.


Mr. Davis died Friday March 8, 2024 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.


He was born April 27, 1956 in Cookeville, TN to the late George K. and Rosa Pauline Mackie Davis.


Danny was employed as a truck driver. He enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing and, in his youth, building motors and racing. He had a great personality and loved to joke and cut up.


In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sheryl Stevenson Davis; daughter, Lacrisha Davis; a brother, Sam Davis; and by sisters, Peggy Wilmoth and Shirley Brandon.


He is survived by son, Daniel Davis and wife Catherine Harris; grandchildren, Caleb Davis, Hunter Davis, Christopher Harris and Franklin Harris; great grandson, Caspian Harris; and b yseveral nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews,


Pallbearers will be Daniel Davis, Larry Wilmoth, Galen Davis, Brandon Wilmoth, Christopher Harris and Franklin Manier.
