Funeral services for Mr. Dale Fox, age 44 of Cookeville, will be held Friday, December 4, 2020 at 11:00 am in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Shipley Cemetery. Bobby Roberts will officiate. His family will receive friends Thursday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m and again Friday from 9:00 a.m until service time at the funeral home. Mr. Fox, beloved husband and father, passed away Friday November 27, 2020 at his home in Cookeville, TN. Dale was born August 31, 1976 in Cookeville, TN to Carl and Nancy Tucker. He was a 1994 graduate of Upperman High School. He worked for the city of Cookeville in the city's Public Works Department. He was a fan of Nascar and Alabama football. He always enjoyed hunting with his daughter and spending time with his family. He served 10 years as a volunteer with the Putnam County Fire Department. Dale was a selfless man who brought joy and love to those who surrounded him. In addition to his parents, Dale's family includes his wife, Jamie Buck Fox; son, Samson Conner; daughter, Sage Fox; two sisters, Patty Harris Flinchun and Peggy (Tony) Keith; father-in-law, Tim Burnell; his mother-in-law, Linda Buck; two brothers-in-law, Tommy (Tammy) and Shane (Kim) Buck; and a host of nieces and nephews. Dale was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Jerry Buck and mother-in-law, Shirley Burnell. Pallbearers will be family and friends. His family asks that memorial contributions be made to the family in lieu of flowers to help with expenses. Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (931)526-6111.
