Claudine Richardson

Funeral services for Mrs. Lois Claudine Richardson, age 80 of Algood, will be held Sunday, November 15th at 2 p.m. at the Algood Family Event Center. Interment will follow in Algood City Cemetery. Bro. Glenn Ramsey will officiate. Mrs. Richardson's family will receive friends Saturday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. until service time at the Algood Family Event Center. Mrs. Claudine died Wednesday November 11, 2015 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born December 13, 1934 in Baxter to the late Alvin and Rose Williford Crawford. Mrs. Richardson was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister and grandmother who put her family first. She was a graduate of Central High School. She was employed as a secretary at the Algood Rock Quarry for several years. She and her late husband Keith opened Richardson Grocery Store in Algood, where together they owned and operated the grocery store for 25 years. She was a former member of Algood Church of Christ and has been a longtime member and Sunday school teacher at Northeast Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Keith Richardson; daughter-in-law, Lori Richardson; brother, Cecil Crawford; and sister, Golda Jones. She is survived by her sons, Mike Richardson of Algood and Danny Richardson and wife Denise of Knoxville; grandchildren, Adam Richardson of Nashville, Cody Richardson of Knoxville and Elora Davis and husband Tyler of Sparta; brother, Donald Crawford and wife Wilma of Old Hickory; sister, Willene Flatt of Algood; and by her brother-in-law, Denny Richardson. Raymond, David, Roger, And Terry Flatt, Wayne Key and Hank Crawford will serve as pallbearers.
