Claudia Juanita Harris, known affectionately by friends and family as Juanita, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2024, at the NHC of Smithville, TN. Born on April 13, 1928, in Algood, TN to the late Robert Lee and Ceril Rose Rittenberry Harris. Juanita's warm spirit and diligent work ethic were evident from an early age.
Juanita spent many joyful years as a familiar face to those who frequented Odies drive-in and the Dipsy Doodle, serving her community with a smile as a respected waitress. Her entrepreneurial spirit shone brightly when she took ownership of Oldies, pouring her heart into the establishment.
She was a cherished mother to her son, Anthony "Andy" (Debbie) Ealey of Michigan; mother-in-law of Sunday Ealey, and a beloved grandmother to Gary, Sarah, Trisha, and James Ealey and many great and great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James "Jake" Ealey and grandson Larry Ealey.
Outside of her dedicated work life, Juanita found solace in quilting, creating beautiful pieces, indulging in arts and crafts, and weaving intricate beads that showcased her artistic talent.
Juanita's memory will be treasured and kept alive through the love of her family and the lasting impressions she made on everyone who knew her. Her legacy of kindness, perseverance, and creativity will continue to inspire all.
