Claudean Smith

Funeral services for Claudean Kennedy Smith, age 94 of Rickman, will be at 12 p.m. Thursday April 27 at Netherland Church of Christ.

Bro. Mark Loftis will officiate. Interment will follow at Netherland Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends Thursday from 10 a.m. until service time at the church.

Claudean passed away Tuesday April 25, 2023 at NHC of Cookeville.

She was born February 7, 1929 in Overton County, TN to the late Cosby Kennedy and Enna Eldridge Kennedy.

Claudean was a faithful member of Netherland Church of Christ for over 75 years. She enjoyed being outdoors, gardening and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her sons, David (Sandy) Smith of Rickman, Kenneth Smith of Rickman, and Mark (Cyndi) Smith of Cookeville; sister, Emma Jo Dillon of Rickman; grandchildren, Dustin (Mandy) Smith, Tyler Smith, Kaycie (Ben) Winningham, Jessica (Jason) Thompson, Joshua Smith, and Brandon Smith; great-grandchildren, Brayden and Brock Carr, Hudson, Hadlee, and Harper Thompson, and Marek Smith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Louis Smith and brother, Charles Ray Kennedy.
